Is it Easter yet?
I know I know, Easter is what, 7ish months into the future at this point...
But, this has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time.
All I know is, I want one! And how fun would it be to sit down with the boy to make Easter eggs this year, well, in a few years I suppose, but that's beside the point.

Mmmmmm... Yum!
Made a summer pasta tonight for the lady, the boy, and I. A little pancetta, a few heirloom tomatoes, some fresh fettucini noodles and some great parmesan cheese, topped with a bit of fresh basil. Yuh Umm!! I know what you are thinking right now, 'How is it that my eyes are drooling? Weird...' Haha, feast my friends, feast!

The Pup...
Its not the best shot, but I thought it might be kinda cool to rock a retro look, with the pup and Dramatic lighting... Much love...
Ah yes, the Belly...
So we're now in our 26th-ish week, probably starting Twenty Seven this saturday. And then on Sunday, the lady and I will be rockin' at the first of our THREE baby showers... That's right, Three... Haha, but first, we get to get all spiffed up for a photo shoot... Camera one, camera two, camera one, camera two.... I'm more photogenic from the left... Those pics will be soon to follow, as I've been thinking about this blog, as well as a whole lot of other things that I need to get back into... But until I get you those pictures, here are some that you may have seen, and some that you haven't...

Since then...
Since last you've seen us...
We went to a Detroit Tiger's home game for free when the Tampa Bay Devil Rays were in town, for what started out as just another reason to eat Brats. And turned into us leaving around the 6th inning for fear that my darling prego would turn into a mommy-sicle. Tigers won 6-4, watched the end of the game from under a blanket on the couch...
We were in Saugatuck, MI for Memorial Day for C's family reunion, where there was a copious amount of wine being enjoyed. Both good and bad... Lets just say, 'The Norton' varietal from the well known vineyards of Missouri were of the later. Some of the slogans for the Norton wine, as thought up by C's family were as follows. 'Norton, There's always some left.' 'Norton, It'll take the varnish off.' 'Norton, If I wasn't pregnant, I might even think about trying some...'
On the way back to the D, we stopped in G.R. for some much needed QT with the Kingsley's. And quality it was, as we tested some of The King's home brews. The first was a nice blood orange pale ale, very nice flavors with a hint of citrus, not an overpowering orange 'BROberon' fruitiness. The second was a cherry wheat, made with tart cherries. Again, the finish was smooth, with a subtle cherry flavor... Very good indeed. After that, we tried a 'Hopslam' Clone, a peach ale, and a hazelnut stout, which, with the exception of the stout were all delicious. Can't wait for the next batch, a Sun Tea Ale... May the Tesh be with you...
C's been rockin' it at the Salon, doing events for Royal Oak High School, as well as a private Catholic school fundraiser. She came home with a wonderful story about a little old Armenian woman that came in. Ask her about it next time you see her, she'll I'm sure, be happy to share about her time with the 87 year old woman...
I've been riding to work as much as I can, although the 100 degree heat doesn't so much make for a happy day on the even hotter cook line. But, the twelve and a half mile trek makes for a nice 40 minute commute, and an even better workout for the upcoming M22 challenge on the 11th of June.
And two days after the M22 we hope to have some fuzzy screen shots of the belly squatter... SUPER EXCITED about that!! As well all of you should be...
And if you haven't heard already, my not so little, little brother made it safely to Anchorage, AK enjoying his time with his host family. Flew to King Salmon, hitched the Naknek and from what he said, 'Less then ten hours later I was up in a two passenger airplane.' He also said he's going to be working for an airport mechanic until he finds his fishing position... I'll keep you posted as I am...
I'll try to post some recent pics of our travels and what not, but I'm not sure I've completely figured out how to do that straight from my phone... I'll keep trying...
Until then...

13 Weeks Sunday
On Sunday my lovely Special lady friend will be thirteen weeks into our highly anticipated new addition's nine month womb rental. So I figure now is as good a time as any to start writing again. (Maybe this time I will keep the subject matter a little more positive......... Maybe not) In this inaugural post, it is my hope to start off on the right foot, and so, here are some of the most visited and valuable sites I love. First, notcot.org, where countless hours of studying have been neglected and a multitude of artists, designers, and sites have been added to my favorites list. Angryblue.com, along with humantree.com (Jeral Tidwell's evil brainchild) are an amazing pair of illustrators with a twisted sense of greatness and I'm sure some blood infused ink used in the pursuit. Twinsix.com is the kind of cycling outfitter that your mamma warned you about, and you snuck a peek with a flashlight under the covers even though you knew it would give you nightmares. And last but certainly not least, a friend's blog that will reinvent the way you think about coffee in Detroit and maybe get you hooked on a few other blogs as well, astrocoffeedetroit.blogspot.com.
